Close protection is the core of the house. A principal is assigned one officer or a rotating team according to risk, public exposure and the shape of the week. The work is preventative: reconnaissance, venue liaison, secure seating, sterile rooms, medical plans and a calm extraction if the temperature changes.
Officers dress for the diary. They can accompany a school run at 08:10 and a black-tie foundation dinner at 19:30 without looking borrowed from either world. Female CPOs are available where the principal or family prefers it. Protective surveillance and counter-surveillance can sit around the inner team when the profile requires it.
